The beginners group should be performed by those who have never practiced yoga before, who are infirm in any way, weak or sick and who are therefore unable to perform the more difficult postures.
This group consists of elementary techniques designed to prepare the body and mind for major and meditation asana. These postures are in no way inferior to the advance asana and very useful in improving physical health.
